Founded on November 1, 1977 as CE Special Courier, CE has been at the forefront of high-end logistics services in the North of the Netherlands, both nationally and internationally. Our promise was simple and has never changed: when it truly has to arrive on time, a CE courier is already on the way. With depots in Groningen (headquarters), Deventer, and Amsterdam and a national network of carefully selected partner locations, we are always close by, for both medical and non-medical urgent shipments.

Our medical specialization grew over the years rather than overnight. We have carried blood transports for Sanquin since 1985, and from there we came to serve hospitals such as UMCG and Martini Hospital with temperature-controlled, GDP-compliant transport. What began as a forward-thinking courier company evolved into a sophisticated medical logistics operation, with more than 7,000 transport orders handled in our own TMS in the first half of 2026 alone.

In 2024 we entered a new chapter as the second generation took leadership of this family business, and in 2025 we confirmed our direction with a new name: CE Medical Logistics. The name changed, the craftsmanship did not.

We still drive plenty of non-medical shipments, for industry, technical wholesale, food, and international routes, only now we handle that work to the same highest standard that medical transport demands: demonstrable, conditioned where needed, and backed by our own TMS, live track and trace, and digital handover through QR scan, signature, and photo proof. What is good enough for blood and medicines is more than good enough for your shipment.
